Dunning-Foubert students follow the OCDSB Character Traits (acceptance, appreciation, co-operation, empathy, fairness, integrity, optimism, perseverance, respect, responsibility) to promote a Community of Learning. Our school also follows the OCDSB Framework for Student Well-being (BIPWELL) incorporating physical, socio-emotional and cognitive well-being.
More recently the OCDSB has instituted another focus for us in the form of ' Exit Outcomes'. We expect our students to be goal-oriented, innovative/creative, collaborative, globally aware, resilient, ethical decision-makers, digitally fluent, academically diverse, effective communicators and critical thinkers.
We, at Dunning-Foubert, believe we offer a learning environment, through our 'CODE OF LEARNING'
"where students, staff and visitors are: courteous and cooperative, responsible and respectful of others and their environment, always try their best, are punctual and prepared for every class and are aware of and follow school expectations".
